On a Victorinox swiss army knife what does the hook do?

I've tryed looking on the internet but I can't find out what it's meant to be used for.

4. Yes..it is a can opener and is also a bottle opener for those little goodies that won't twist off. Remeber the olden days when soda and beer needed an opener?
