Can you wear a Swiss Army Knife on your belt in California? If so how old do you have to be to wear a Swiss Army Knife on your belt in California?

1. Depends on the town and the weapons laws of those towns. In Wichita, KS, previous residence, the law was the blade had to be less than 3.5 inches.
2. Swiss army knifes are legal in all states, there's no age requirements to own one. I got one at age 9 when I was in boy scouts. You can wear it where ever you'd like other than school. They don't make swiss army knifes with over a 3.5 inch blade, that's why they're legal in all states. I'd love to hear the explanation for a thumbs down.
