what is the best way to carry a swiss army knife?

What is the best way to carry a swiss army knife? I don't have a sheath for it. The blade is under 3 inches long. It does have a small ring on it. I guess its so you can put it on a key ring or chain. But wouldn't it be considered a concealed weapon to put it in your pocket with your keys? How can I carry it in plain sight so its not concealed? Thank you for your help.

1. A pocket knife under 3" isn't considered a "concealed weapon." I always carry mine in there. If you want it visible, I suppose you could string it on a necklace.
