How do I take care of gerber daisies?
I just got some gerber daisies for my birthday. How do I move them to a pot on the balcony, how often should I water, etc. Any tips on getting Beautiful flowers and what to do when the flower dies.

- Gerber's are easy to take care of. Transfer them to a pot is simple dig around the plant and repot them. Check soil moisture with your finger when soil is dry water them well.Make sure pot has good drainage. You can use miracle grow as a fertilizer to get tons of flowers. I actually like Miracle grow shake and feed myself. You just shake in the granules and water as needed and it gives the flowers the right amount of food. Then a flower is done just pinch it off or snip it off.Hope ths helps.
- Gerberas are super easy to grow. They'll take full sun, are perennial here in SC, semi-heavy feeders. Water when dry. If you received cut flowers you're out of luck as far as potting them, flower stems won't propagate. If you received potted plants only transplant when you can see roots through the drain hole. I prefer miraclegro soil and fertilizer.
